Here is the schedule for our final week of the season, if you can believe it!
Sunday March 1st – Sunset Practice 600am
Monday March 2nd – Home Game vs. Semiahmoo A2, Kitsilano 645pm
Tuesday March 3rd – Away Game vs Surrey A2, North Surrey #1 700pm
Thursday March 5th – Away Game vs Burnaby Minor A2, Copeland 630pm
Friday March 6th – Dryland Training, for those participating
Also, Saturday night March 7th from 6 – 8PM, we’ll be having a fun get together at the Dunbar Community Centre.
Well, after sending Seafair packing in round one, we move on to round 2 of our playoffs against Burnaby Winter Club A2. The upcoming schedule as we know it is as follows (and the website has been updated with all upcoming events):

Playoff Game Monday the 23rd vs. BWC A2, Kitsilano @ 645pm
This up coming series with BWC A2 is a 4 point series. Two points for a win, one point for a tie, no overtime.
Here is the current playoff scedule, as we know it, for the remainder of this week at least. What happens next well depend upon whether we win or lose against Seafair.
Practice Monday the 9th…at Kitsilano 645pm
Playoff Game Wednesday the 11th vs. Seafair A2, RIC Forum, 615 pm
If necessary Playoff Game Thursday the 12th vs. Seafair A2…..TBD
If the game on the 11th were to end in a tie, we would need to play again on the 12th.
This second game would go into overtime in order to decide a winner.
The website has been updated with all currently scheduled events for January, including goalie clinics. This is really short, only the month of January prior to getting set up for playoffs in February.
There are a few twists…..so please pay attention to the following items of note.
In order to facilitate our Bantam A1 team’s schedule we have traded three of our Thursday practice times – for three of their Wednesday practice times. Same time, same location…..just Wednesday instead of Thursday. That starts tomorrow morning…….just in case your 12 year old didn’t tell you. Please watch for them on the 7th, 14thand 21st.
In order to facilitate our Peewee A1 team’s schedule we have traded two of our Sunday practice times – for two of their Saturday practice times. A much better weekend time for us to enjoy – Kerrisdale from 715 – 830 am. Please watch for them on the 17th and the 31st.
We have two Friday evening games……so for those doing the Dryland Training the connection will be a little tight, but you will be well warmed up.
Our practice on January 29th is at risk due to our away game with Burnaby Minor that evening. We are working on a couple of solutions, but in order to get this out to you now….we will need to make that adjustment at a later date.
On Tuesday December 30th, there will be an optional, BUT RECOMMENDED pre-tournament skate at CANLAN ICE SPORTS in North Vancouver @ 2411 Mount Seymour Parkway in North Vancouver.
Time: 12:45 – 2:00 PM
We will plan for 30 minutes of practice, and finish up with some 3on3.
If you’re not in town and can’t make it, we’ll see everyone at Burnaby 8 Rinks 8Rinks on the 2nd of Januaary between 615am – 630am for a 715am game time!
